I made mailboxes for each of the girls this year. I would like to write the girls encouraging notes periodically. I can put them in the mailbox and pop the flag up. It's a little backward since the flag up means you have incoming mail instead of outgoing mail. Each girls box is on her school shelf. David and I have a box too, just in case the girls want to write to us.
I love that idea Tracy and might just steal it! Sydney has been trying to set up an inter-family post office for years but we haven't been able to keep it going...cuz I just couldn't stand the added clutter of her homemade boxes all over the place. I like your idea MUCH better. Good stuff!
