Megan is doing a biology experiment where she is putting different "foods" in pond water to feed whatever is in there. One jar has rich soil, another has egg yolk. another has dried grass, and the last has white rice. We went to the Lynn Have Rec Center pond about 5 minutes from our house to get the water. When we got there we noticed that the city has trimmed much of the grass around the pond so it was easier to get to the water. I saw a goose in a nest with eggs and thought that was neat until Megan says, "Hey, there is the alligator". He was remarkably close to us. He is the stick looking thing just beyond Meg's head.
