Back to real life - sort of... On our first day back to school, we had a field trip to Kilwin's Chocolates and Ice Cream. The girls each made a chocolate covered rice crispy bar and a chocolate covered marshmallow. We also saw them making fudge. After all the treats (including a really big "sample" of fudge) we went home with a really big sugar high! It really was a fun field trip. I expected a little more information on how the chocolate was made. We were the first of 5 groups. I think other groups may have gotten more of that.
