On election day, we had a contest... who could correctly predict the number of seats the Republican party would pick up in the House and Senate. Jordan was closest in the House - she was off by just 3 seats. Megan was closest in the Senate. I had gotten candy bars for the winners. We didn't expect that it would take so long for some of the races to be determined, then we forgot to figure the percentages. It was fun to talk with the girls about the election process, have them look at some of the polls and make an informed guess. They stayed up very late watching the results come in.
