There is a reason why my macbook is hooked up to the TV. My screen went kaput. I'm very thankful that we can get the monitor to project on the tv screen. Earlier in the day, I got a message on the laptop that I hadn't updated my time machine in 41 days. I thought I was toast, but the first thing we did after hooking up my computer was to back up the hard drive.
The Apple tech is sending us a box to send my computer (still under warrenty!) in to get fixed. He said that they would most likely wipe my hard drive clean. I have all of my school lessons plans now backed up so the girls don't have to worry about not being able to start school on time after Christmas break.
